As you all know I was doing once again the bout of books read a thon this week. It was hosted by Boutofbooks. This is the fifth edition.
To sum up this is what I posted during the reading :
My goals
Day 1 & 2
Day 3
Day 4, 5, 6 & 7
The books that I've read :
Eon by Alison Goodman 531 pages - 4 stars
Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout 371 pages - 5 stars
The Near Witch by Victoria Schwab 108 pages (I did not finish it during the read a thon).
So yes I didn't reach my reading goals. I read less than for the boutofbooks read a thon in May but I don't care because I had so much fun and read awesome books. After finishing Onyx it was very difficult for me to start reading a new book because my head was still full of Jennifer L. Armentrout's story. So I think that's why I didn't read on thursday, friday and saturday. After that I was reading The Near Witch but I'm loving this book and I didn't want to rush it because of the read a thon. This book deserves better ;). And I was also organizing my 2 year blogoversary international giveaway on saturday so I didn't have much time to read.
But I was much more involved during that read a thon edition and i'm very proud of that :) :
- I left tons of comments on blogs and followed some awesome bloggers (my google reader hates me but in a good way ;)) and on twitter. I think I met more than 40 bloggers !
- I joined 8 challenges !
- I participated in 2 twitter chats (on Monday and Saturday). The one on Monday was my first twitter chat ! And I loved both of them. It was awesome and crazy.
I would like to thank the organizers, all the blogs that were hosting challenges... Boutofbooks is my favorite read a thon and I already can't wait to join the next edition !!!

Even if you didn't reach your reading goals, I'm glad you had fun and enjoyed all of it!! I fell short on mine too, but I still had a blast!
ReplyDeleteYay, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself! Monday's Twitter chat was great, I'm sad I didn't get to take part in the others though! I can't wait to see what you think of The Near Witch, I'm happy to see you're enjoying it! :D
