In my mailbox was started by Kristi (The story siren) and inspired by Alea (Pop Culture Junkie). It is a way to share the books we receive each week in our mailbox or books you've bought or find in the library.
This week I received two books :
A little princess by Frances Hogson Burnett : This book is my childhood. I read it a long time ago and I watched the movie at least 20 times.
Anne of Green Gables & Anne of Avonlea by LM Montgomery : It's book 1 & 2 in the series. I love this cover it's so cute ! I heard good things about this book on goodreads.
These two books are "children" books. So I think I might do a little "children books" challenge at the end of february or beginning of march or even later I don't know yet. A children books challenge with these three books and also Little Women that I wanted to reread for quite a long time. I'll be very nostalgic while reading them for sure :).
And you what was in your mailbox this week?
J'adore la couverture de gauche. ;) Bonnes lectures et bon dimanche
ReplyDeleteSuch cute books - I haven't read either but I really do need to! I hope they both bring back some lovely memories for you when you read them!

The Little Princess was a favorite of mine in my childhood too! I didn't even know there was a movie, I'm definitely going to check that out now! I agree, the cover for Anne of Green Gables is so cute! I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it, I haven't read them either! I need to read more Children/MG books, you're so right about it being very nostalgic! Happy Reading Marie!
ReplyDeleteOh les couvertures sont trop mimies :) Enjoy ;)
ReplyDeleteI love 'A Little Princess' - it's one of my favourite books from when I was younger. I also read almost all of the 'Anne' books, and really enjoyed most of them. It's nice to go back to childhood favourites.
