Goodreads : The thrilling conclusion to #1 bestselling Shiver trilogy from Maggie Stievater
In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. In Linger, they fought to be together. Now, in Forever, the stakes are even higher than before. Wolves are being hunted. Lives are being threatened. And love is harder and harder to hold on to as death comes closing in.
My review : I'm so sad that this series end...
Maggie Stiefvater is one of my favorite YA author and this series is one of my favorite as well. I'm so excited to see Maggie again in september!
I wasn't disappointed at all by this last book. Her writing is still beautiful, lyrical, poetic, emotional, touching... There isn't a lot of actions in those books because everything is about feelings and emotions. I look forward to reading more by Maggie and I can't wait to read the scorpio races which is coming out in october (and we can read a little extract at the end of Forever!).
In Forever everything has changed. Grace is now a wolf and it's Sam who's waiting for her. It was interesting to discover Grace in this new form and her struggles and thoughts about it.
I was still happy to follow their amazing relationship even if I wasn't as much into it as in the other books...
But still I was completly submerged in the world of Mercy Falls.
This book is full of tension because Tom Culpeper has finally found a way to get the wolves killed.
Cole has a huge role in this book, he is trying to save everyone. I loved him even more in this one !
At the end there is a lot of actions and I was speechless...
The epilogue is perfect even if there is still a lot of questions unanswered. Normally I don't like that sort of ending but it felt right here... I'm gonna have a little book depression now because it's hard to think there won't be another book about Sam and Grace...
