Boutofbooks read a thon Day 1 & 2

I decided to do the Bout of books read-a-thon again !
This read-a-thon is hosted by Boutofbooks.

You can see my goals post here.

Update 13/08
Books I've read : Eon by Alison Goodman.
Number of pages that I've read : I already started this book before the read a thon and I had read 200 pages. I'm on page 350 right now so I have 150 pages to go.
How was my first day? I really enjoyed reading Eon so far. It's so different and unique ! I met awesome people on twitter and discovered great blogs when I left comments on boutofbooks read a thon posts. The twitter chat was crazy it was so fast ! It was my first twitter chat and I really enjoyed it. I've also done the two challenges of the day.

Challenges of Monday, August 13th

Tell us who your literary BFF is and why they're your always friend. What do you guys do together? What do you talk about? Get creative and let us know who your Literary Best Friend is!

I think my literary BFF would be Sydney Sage from the Vampire Academy spin off series Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. I really like this character and I feel so close and connected to her. Almost like a friend so I think she's the best answer for this question. She is very smart. I'll never be as smart as her but we have a lot in common and I think it would be awesome to be her friends. We would have so much interesting conversations ! She likes latin, history, opera... it's things that I love but I don't share it with any of my friends. So I would love to be Sidney Sage BFF :).

Tell us what happens to your books after you have read them !

They either end up on my bookshelves or I sell them to a used bookstore.

Update 14/08
Books I've read : I finished Eon by Alison Goodman. And I started Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Number of pages I've read : 340 pages.
How was this second day? I have finished Eon and I loved it so I already bought a copy of the second book Eona. I'm going to write my review today. I've started Onyx last night and I was reading it until 3 am so I have already read 160 pages of it ! I have talked with several bloggers on twitter and left some comments on posts.

  1. I still haven't read Vampire Academy! I probably should have made that one of my Bout of Books to-reads. :)

  2. Awesome! I love Syndey as well, but I didn't connect with her as much as you did. But she is an interesting person. My literary boyfriend is here: http://unputdownablebookies.blogspot.com/2012/08/bout-of-books-read-thon-50-day-1-my.html

Keep up with the progress! Hope you're enjoying Eon!

  4. I never thought about selling my books to a used book store! I always donate them to the library. I don't get any money for them there and (in case people don't know) the books you donate don't go into their collection!!

Here is my Challenges for the day!

  9. That is cool you are reading a NEW book during the Read-A-Thon. For me it's all about reading books I have had laying around forever and that will also help me on my Dusty Bookshelf challenge. LOL! 2 birds you know!
