Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

Rating : 2 / 5

Goodreads : Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of sexy alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers. But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything- including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

My review : OMG guys i'm so disappointed :(. I really really thought I would like this book because normally I love all werewolves stories and also I confess because the hardcover of Nighshade is pretty gorgeous  but I didn't get into it and there was a lot of negative points for me...
So what I didn't like in this book :
I really really didn't like the characters especially the heroine. And well when you don't like the heroine of the book... you don't like the story being told from her point of view! And Shay... this character is just a shadow ! I was really bored when I read passages with him in it. I felt nothing about their attraction and even love. He just was nothing for me. I know it's harsh... And then there was Ren. I loved him even it he is kind of the bad boy cliché...
I also didn't really like all the things about the keepers, the history of the guardians... I don't know I wasn't into it.
And also I was bored when I was reading this book. There wasn't a lot of actions well except at the end but I wasn't surprised by the end because I figured it out a few chapters before. And the end was just... let's just say I don't think i'm going to read the second book.
What I like :
The all pack thing, I always loved werewolf and wolf comportement and it was interesting to see all that with teenagers in high school. How their lives are all planned, the whole hierarchy between them...
