Letterbox Love + Stacking the shelves [13]

Letterbox Love is a weekly feature hosted by Lynsey on Narratively Speaking. The idea apparently came out of a group discussion on twitter.
It's a new meme for the UK bookbloggers where we share the books that we've received, bought, borrowed ect.. every week.
I wanted to do this meme because i'm going to live in England in less than a month so it would be an awesome way to meet UK bloggers !

And i'm also doing Stacking the shelves. I know i'm already doing Letterbox Love but I like this meme. I really like Tynga's blog and I met a lot of awesome bloggers thanks to this meme these past few weeks. So i'm doing two meme now every sunday :).

I got 3 books from Netgalley :
Confessions of an angry girl by Louise Rozett. I have already read this book. It's a cute and heartbreaking contemporary book. You can see my review here. Thank you Harlequin Teen.
Dash and Lily's book of dares by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan. Thank you Harlequin UK.
Fade by A.K. Morgen. Thank you Curiosity Quills Press.

I bought some e-books for my Kindle :
All these ebooks are on my ipod touch right now but I'll have a Kindle next week !
Foretold : 14 tales of prophecy and prediction by various authors. This is an anthology. It's a gift from my godfather. I bought this book because of Richelle Mead's novella. It's a novella about Rose and Dimitri going to Russia. I've been waiting for it since I finished Last Sacrifice in december 2010. I'm so excited ! I think i'm going to read this book during my birthday next week !
City of Masks (Stravaganza) by Mary Hoffman. This book was so cheap on amazon (0,99 euros). One of my university friend Marjorie loved that series and she recommended it to me a few months ago.
Iron's prophecy by Julie Kagawa. This was my last WOW :). It just came out today i'm so excited. It's a novella that is happening between the fourth book of the iron feys series and the first book in the spin off series. I'm going to read The Lost Prince soon so it's perfect.

I also got some free classics e-books for my Kindle :
Peter and Wendy but also Peter in Kensington Gardens by James Matthew Barrie. I'm a huge fan of Peter Pan but I've never the book *shame on me*. I watched the movie a few weeks ago and I want to buy Tiger Lily soon but I will be reading this book before.

Robin Hood by Paul Crewick. I've read this book in french but I wanted to read the english version. I've read Scarlet by AC Gaughen a few months ago. It's a retelling of Robin Hood and it's one of my favorite 2012 debut novel !

Cyrano de Bergerac by Simon Rostand. I've never read it either :(. I've been visiting Bergerac this summer and I really wanted to read it after that.

But I also bought some physical books and bookmarks :
I bought a book about Vivaldi. It's a beautiful hardcover book and it's really interesting. It comes with 2 CDs. And it was pretty cheap (2 euros).
Then I visited a castle on Tuesday. I bought a book in french about weapons in the middles ages :
Les armes aux Moyen Age by Philippe Durand.
And I also bought two bookmarks about the french tapestry The Lady and the unicorn.

  22. I LOVED Confessions of an Angry Girl too! I'm dying for the second one. And I really really need to get myself a copy of The Iron Legends so I can read Iron Prophecy. It would make sense to get the ebook since it's cheaper, but I rather have the all three novellas. LOL. Foretold sounds amazing! I hope you enjoy all these books and thank you so much for stopping by my STS. I always see you comment and I really appreciate it :D
