My review : This is one of my favorite book ever... And it's my favorite debut novel of 2012 (with Throne of Glass and Born Wicked after that). I already want to reread it !
The idea behind this story is incredible : what if Will Scarlet Robin Hood's famous companion was in fact... a girl ?
The heroine of this book is outstanding. I love conflicted character like that. She suffered so much in her life but she is so brave !
The great mystery of this book is Scarlet past and who she really is. And I didn't see it coming. The plot is that good.
I've always loved the story of Robin Hood. And usually i'm not a huge fan of retellings and I didn't think I could love Robin Hood and its legend any more than I already have but... A.C Gaughen is a genius because it's exactly what happened.
And it's one of my favorite cover as well !
