Letterbox Love [5]

Letterbox Love is a weekly feature hosted by Lynsey on Narratively Speaking. The idea apparently came out of a group discussion on twitter.
It's a new meme for the UK bookbloggers where we share the books that we've received, bought, borrowed ect.. every week.

This week I've been really lucky. I got a lot of gifts !
First I got some swags :

The previous week end I went to an event in Paris called Welcome to Mystic Falls. I volunteered to work there. Thanks Sofia again for this amazing opportunity ! It was an event about the tv show Vampire Diaries with the actors Ian Somerhalder (Damon), Paul Welsey (Stefan) and Torrey Devitto (Meredith). But it was also book-related with various french and american authors including Rachel Caine and Amy Plum. It was an awesome week end ! I was so happy to see many french bloggers that I like and people that I know on twitter (Francesca, Tessa, Vovka, Sofia to name just a few). It was also amazing to meet the actors. I was really close to them during these two days. On saturday I was taking care of Torrey signing and in the afternoon Paul and Ian signing. And on sunday I was taking care of Ian's photoshoot and in the afternoon Paul signing. Torrey was so nice and beautiful. I loved all her clothes ! I liked Ian more than Paul. I don't really know what to think of Paul now for a lot of things that I saw and heard during this week end but maybe he is just shy. I loved Ian though ! This guy is such a flirt ! He is always smiling, winking and telling jokes. But I was even more excited to meet Rachel Caine and Amy Plum. Yes authors are even better than actors in my world ^^. They were both doing conferences but I didn't go to them because I was working around the actors :/. But I had the chance to meet Amy Plum and talk to her before her conference.

I didn't get my Morganville vampires books signed by Rachel Caine :(. I brought the author and her husband coffee though XD.
